Founded in 2012 by a group of veteran RV executives in Middlebury, Indiana, Grand Design set out to build towables around dealer and owner feedback rather than volume targets. The range now spans Transcend and Imagine travel trailers, Reflection and Solitude fifth wheels, Momentum toy haulers and the Lineage motorized line. Sidewalls and slide rooms are laminated over welded aluminum framing, roofs use wood trusses under a one-piece TPO membrane, and every unit passes a second inspection at a dedicated facility before shipping.

Owners tend to talk about the after-sale side as much as the floorplan: a round-the-clock support line, mobile technicians and warranty coverage that transfers to the next owner.
