The first product out of Daryl Zook's shop in Shipshewana, Indiana in 1972 was a truck camper, assembled by two employees. More than fifty years on, the company builds travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers across lines including Connect, Domani, Sportsmen, Durango and Sportster X, still from northern Indiana and now under Thor Industries. Growth has stayed measured, with a reputation built on dealer and owner satisfaction scores rather than on chasing the largest catalogue in the industry.
