About Pleasure-Way
Class B camper vans built in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on Mercedes, Ram, and Ford chassis.
One of the few Class B builders based in Canada.
Pleasure-Way has been building Class B motorhomes in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan since 1986, when founder Merv Rumpel finished the first ten units in the back shop of his trailer dealership. The company is still family run, now led by his son Dean, and every coach is hand fitted rather than pushed down a fast assembly line. Canadian built counts for something here: the vans come off a prairie production floor, and the five-year Freedom limited warranty is backed by the same builder.
Living with one is closer to driving a well-finished van than piloting a motorhome: it parks in a normal stall, cruises comfortably at highway speed and still carries a galley, a bathroom and real insulation. Couples touring long distances are the core buyer. Compare chassis first, since Mercedes-Benz, Ram ProMaster and Ford platforms drive and service differently, then look at bed configuration, lithium capacity and how much cargo the layout leaves you.
