Intermittent faults are the hardest thing to fix in an RV, because a modern coach is several systems layered on top of each other: 12 volt, 120 volt, propane, water, and increasingly a network of control boards that talk to each other.
Diagnostics is booked as its own job for exactly that reason. Rather than guessing at parts, a technician traces the fault to its source and then quotes the repair, so you are paying to fix the cause instead of replacing components that turn out to be fine.
